Summary
The Assistant Branch Manager II (ABM II) is a leadership role within the branch, responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in achieving sales, service, and operational goals. Building on the full competencies of ABM I, the ABM II adds greater accountability for compliance, lending, staff performance management, and business development. This role frequently serves as Acting Branch Manager, ensuring continuity of leadership, while modeling CSB’s Core Values: Character, Commitment, Service, Trust, and Community.

Operational Proficiencies
- Manage day-to-day branch operations in absence of Branch Manager.
- Oversee completion of daily tasks: partner emails, NSF decisions, non-post reviews.
- Ensure monthly, semi-annual, and annual audits are completed accurately and timely.
- Exercise wire approval authority within assigned limits.
- Supervise and support staff in teller operations, ATM/TCR balancing, vault control, and compliance with dual control standards.
- Resolve escalated client issues and ensure positive client outcomes.
- Support loan origination (HELOC, small business) and Treasury Management referrals.
- Use training checklists and proficiency scorecards to assess staff development.
- Collaborate with Branch Manager on scheduling, staffing coverage, and market support.
- Distribute, monitor, and ensure completion of outbound calling assignments.
- Participate in community and networking activities.
