Position Summary

The Assistant Camp Counselor supports our Humane Education summer camps, helping lead engaging, hands-on programs for youth that include interactive lessons, games, and animal experiences.
This role is more than just supervision—you’ll help create an environment where kids build confidence, learn compassion, and connect with animals in powerful ways.
This position is ideal for individuals interested in teaching, education, child development, social work, or animal welfare, and looking to gain real, hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Schedule
This is a seasonal position running from late May through August 15, 2026.
Camp sessions typically run Monday through Wednesday, with varying hours depending on the week:
