Position Summary:
Are you looking for a rewarding full-time role working with kids? Join our team as an Assistant Teacher and help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. This role offers a great opportunity to build experience working with youth while developing general leadership skills.
Pay & Schedule
Starting Pay: $15/hour
Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-5:45PM
Schedule: Full-Time 35-40 hours per week
Shift: Schedules vary based on staffing needs

What You’ll Do
As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll support the Lead Teacher and help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
In this role, you will:
- Help lead fun, age-appropriate activities and learning experiences that keep kids engaged and learning
- Assist in planning and implementing curriculum and daily activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
- Ensure a safe, supervised environment at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Use positive guidance to encourage good behavior and problem-solving
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Assist with daily routines including meals, hygiene, and transitions
- Communicate with families and contribute to daily updates
- Help maintain required documentation and licensing standards

Requirements:
What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role, you should:
- At least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or GED (or in progress)
- Have 1 year of childcare experience required
- Feel confident interacting with children and communicating with parents
- Be willing and able to complete required trainings (CPR/First Aid, Mandatory Reporter, etc.)
- Have reliable transportation and a strong commitment to being on time
- Be able to stay active throughout your shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to meet background check and health screening requirements
