Under the direction of the City Attorney, provides legal counsel to the City of Kyle, consults with and advises departments, officers, boards and committees. Also, as assigned: (a) serves as the primary prosecutor for Class C Misdemeanors in Kyle Municipal Court; (b) assists and advises outside attorneys representing the City; (c) processes and drafts documents related to requests under the Texas Public Information Act. Requires the exercise of initiative and independent judgment on matters of significance involving the City’s general operations.
The minimum starting salary is $74,435 - $91,927 * + Competitive Benefits* Eligible experience, education, and expertise may provide a greater starting base pay within the full pay range.
