Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Assistant Community Manager to provide essential office and client support services in the day-to-day operations of our community association clients. Experience in community association management, real estate, land development, construction, or insurance is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet office visitors and respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and electronically
- Maintain and organize community records, both physical and digital
- Assist with preparation of meeting notices and board packets
- Transcribe meeting minutes and draft correspondence as needed
- Attend board and committee meetings as requested
- Coordinate and schedule vendor visits and onsite meetings
- Manage office supplies and arrange service for equipment
- Maintain board calendars and schedule use of conference rooms
- Publish community communications via email and engagement platforms
- Receive and process incoming mail and owner payments
- Manage vehicle decal records (as applicable)
- Prepare check requests and assist in drafting RFPs
- Support community managers with research and vendor coordination
- Participate in company and client events when needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; CAM license or pre-licensure coursework preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently
- Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with homeowners and condominium associations is a plus
Working Environment:
This is an office-based position with occasional mobility requirements for on-site visits within the community. You will routinely use standard office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers, and scanners.
