Lead Compounding / Mixing Technician
Overview:
Hands-on compounding of all Company’s bulk formulas. Additional responsibilities are to assist with all warehouse duties such as
Responsibilities & Duties:
- · Assist in accurately weighing and dispense materials from inventory and combine raw materials in the correct proportions and specifications following specific MMR instructions. Maintain MMR to ensure accuracy and match to Build of Materials in accounting software to ensure accuracy between the two systems.
- Operate and maintain machinery including mixers, scales, pumps, and temperature-controlling equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Ensure that all sanitation and GMP requirements are followed.
- Monitor processes, test product properties, and ensure all compounded batches meet the specified quality standards.
- Receive all raw materials following the company’s receiving process and send new products for testing, securing a proper CoA for each raw material and lot number.
- Maintain detailed records of materials, processes, and test results to ensure compliance with our company procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during the compounding process to maintain efficiency and product consistency.
- Ensure that compounding projects proceed as scheduled.
- Assist in the warehouse with additional duties
- Conducts inventory cycle counts as required by the company.
- Assist in the shipping of all orders received daily.
Assumes other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and write English to read and follow formulas, procedures, and equipment instructions.
- Good math skills to problem solve compounding formulas
- Good computer skills to be able to document procedures, communicate, make changes, and keep accurate records.
- Good mechanical ability and knowledge.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with other associates and managers.
- Good people skills and excellent cooperation with co-workers and managers.
- Ability to train co-workers.
- Ability to timely and accurately complete work
- Problem solving skills to identify and fix incorrectly formulated batches.
- Manage multiple tasks at one time.
Physical requirements to perform job duties:
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Stand/remain upright for periods of up to 4 hours at a time.
- Bend, squat, kneel, balance, turn, and stoop.
- Reach forward and overhead.
- Good eye/hand coordination.
- Safely fit into forklift.
- Ability to use controls to operate and drive forklift.
Education and/or experience required to perform job duties:
- One year of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- 1 years of work experience in compounding preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- English: 1 year (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
