Assistant Construction Project Coordinator

McPhee Associates is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant Construction Project Coordinator to support our growing residential construction team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service.

As an Assistant Project Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our project managers/field supervisors, estimators, and clients—helping ensure projects run smoothly from planning through completion.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate logistics for multiple residential construction projects
  • Assist with project and trade scheduling, reviewing timelines and identifying overlooked tasks or deadlines
  • Schedule and confirm client meetings, prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and track action items
  • Enter and manage tasks, selections, and change orders in software
  • Provide concierge-level customer service by responding promptly to client questions and requests
  • Support project managers by coordinating schedules, deliveries, and project information
  • Assist with product ordering, delivery tracking, and maintaining accurate project selections
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and maintain detailed meeting records
  • Track project extras/change requests and communicate with internal teams
  • Support estimating by assisting with specifications, vendor pricing requests, cost calculations, and proposal preparation

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication, note-taking, and follow-through skills
  • Strong customer service mindset with a polished, professional demeanor
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments
  • Comfortable learning and using project management software (Buildertrend experience is a plus)
  • 5 years of construction industry experience
  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license required

Pay is based on experience

Pay: $58,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
