Job Description

This position is part of TFC’s Construction Department, supporting project execution from pre-construction through project closeout.

Design Review & Coordination

  • Review and provide comments on architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior design drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with consultants to resolve construction issues and respond to RFIs
  • Attend construction coordination meetings with consultants and trade subcontractors

Pre-Construction & Procurement

  • Develop and review trade-specific scopes of work, specifications, and technical documentation for bid packages
  • Review subcontractor bids for scope and specification compliance; prepare bid comparison sheets to ensure full scope coverage
  • Identify and evaluate potential new subcontractors

Cost Management

  • Prepare construction cost estimates throughout various phases of the project
  • Review and process subcontractor change order requests

Construction Administration & Field Oversight

  • Monitor on-site construction progress and quality to ensure compliance with project documents
  • Manage and lead MEP coordination meetings
  • Review and coordinate shop drawings across multiple disciplines for accuracy and alignment with design documents
  • Manage and track the shop drawing and subcontractor submittal process

Project Controls & Closeout

  • Review and approve subcontractor payment requisitions based on work completed
  • Develop and manage project schedules and logistics plans for specific phases of construction
  • Oversee DOB requirements and approvals, including TCO and CO

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in high-rise residential or hotel construction
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Highly detail-oriented

Technical Skills

  • Bluebeam
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Microsoft Project
  • AutoCAD (viewer or higher)

Salary Range

$115,000 – $130,000
