Assistant Controller

Job Summary
The Assistant Controller is responsible for looking after the general finances of the company. Focusing on general accounting practices, developing strong relationships with customers and team members, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders along with preparing sales reports. They will be the liaison with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience.

Responsibilities

- To oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable

- General accounting

- Monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax preparation and payments

- Oversee all Processes, esp. pertaining to Payroll, Inventory, and Compliance.

- Performing audits for insurance and inventory compliance compliance

- Forecast and track key account metrics

- Clearly communicate monthly/quarterly progress initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

- Prepare reports on account status

- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs/objectives

- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
