Assistant County Attorney

The McPherson County Attorney’s office has an opening for an Assistant County Attorney. Start date is as soon as possible. Prior experience preferred. Must pass a background check. Benefits are provided.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be graduate from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the prosecution of a wide variety of cases, including misdemeanor, felony and traffic cases. The position also includes Care & Treatment and Child in Need of Care cases or such cases as experience warrants. Opportunities for immediate, high level felony work are available to qualified applicants.
