Overview
We are hiring an Assistant Day Care Support, with Driver and General Cleaning responsibilities in Whittier, Ca. Responsibilities

• Support the daily care activities by assisting staff with supervising children and engaging them in age-appropriate daily activities
• Safely transport children from school and drop them off at our Child Care setting while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility by performing general cleaning duties, including sanitizing toys, washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, restrooms, and common areas
• Assist with light cleaning tasks, vaccuuming, mopping, taking out trash, sanitizing surfaces and toys around the center to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
• Help with organizing supplies, setting up activity areas, and ensuring all materials are ready for daily use
• Follow all safety protocols during transportation and cleaning activities to protect children, staff, and visitors
• Communicate effectively with team members and parents to support a positive environment

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; safe and reliable vehicle with all working seatbelts, mileage paid
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, diapering kids, and standing for extended periods during cleaning or activity setup
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for cleaning routines and safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engage positively with children and families
