Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on childhood development, preschool activities, and age-appropriate learning experiences
• Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to learning and play
• Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and social interactions that promote emotional and cognitive development
• Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed
• Help supervise children during outdoor play, meals, nap times, and transitions throughout the day
• Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions and cooperation among children
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all safety protocols are followed and first aid procedures are readily accessible in case of emergencies

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and team members

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
