Role Overview
We are seeking an Assistant / Deputy HR Manager whose primary responsibility is end-to-end payroll processing, supported by active involvement across the wider HR function. This is a full-time, on-site role in which the successful candidate will own the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of payroll for our clients, while also contributing to recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and HR operations. The position is positioned for growth into a full managerial role for the right performer.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll (primary focus)

Manage the complete monthly payroll cycle, including salary computation, overtime, arrears, incentives, deductions, loans, and final settlements with full accuracy and on-time disbursement.

Maintain payroll records and process statutory contributions and compliance (EOBI, SESSI/ESSI, income tax, and related filings).

Prepare payroll reports, journal vouchers, salary slips, and reconciliations, and coordinate with finance and auditors as required.

Administer employee data and payroll within HRIS/payroll software, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Broader HR functions

Support recruitment and onboarding, including documentation, offer processing, and induction.

Administer employee benefits and respond to employee inquiries on payroll, leave, and benefits.

Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with company policies and Pakistani labor laws.

Assist with attendance and leave management, HR audits, policy implementation, and process improvement.

Collaborate with the HR team and client stakeholders to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience in payroll processing and payroll administration, ideally in an outsourcing, consulting, or multi-client environment.

Working knowledge of core HR functions and HR management practices.

Hands-on experience with HRIS / payroll software (e.g., Flow HCM, TimeTrax/Efrotech, SAP, ERP, or similar).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with high attention to detail.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA in HR is preferred.
