Job Title: Junior Fashion Designer

Job Summary:
A Junior Fashion Designer supports the design team in creating apparel collections by assisting in research, design development, sampling, and coordination with production teams. This role is ideal for freshers or designers with basic industry experience who are eager to learn and grow in the fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior designers in developing design concepts, mood boards, and color stories
• Create basic sketches and technical drawings as per guidance
• Support in fabric, trim, and accessory selection
• Help in preparing sample briefs and follow up on sampling
• Coordinate with merchandisers and production teams for sample development
• Update design sheets, line sheets, and records
• Conduct market and trend research
• Ensure timelines are followed for sampling and design tasks

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing or related field
• Basic knowledge of fabrics, garments, and construction
• Understanding of design software (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop – basic level)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Attention to detail and creativity

Experience:

• Fresher or 0–2 years of experience

Reporting To:

• Senior Fashion Designer / Design Head

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
