Job Summary: Become the Newest Member of the Family
In this role, you will support the Design department, including but not limited to Performance Apparel Design and accessories teams. This role does not have any direct reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain design libraries (fabric, trims, silhouettes, etc.) keeping accurate record of additions/changes
- Line sheet creation and update, working with design team to cross-check accuracy prior to handoffs
- Facilitate design team tools and references requests (ordering Pantones, reference samples, general supplies, etc.)
- Organize and maintain proto samples, reference samples and track sample movement
- Open, log department parcels, working with sample coordinator to distribute accordingly
- Meet all deliverable and timeline requirements according to business strategy and design calendar
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (Illustrator and Photoshop)
- CAD skills for technical and construction detailed sketches using Adobe Illustrator
- Ability to sketch with accurate scale and proportion
- Active apparel technical and fit knowledge
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate and receive feedback, work well with co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
- Must have great follow up skills via –e-mail, phone, and/or other methods of communication
- Meticulous and detail-oriented with outstanding time management skills: working to a deadline, working independently
- Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative team player, self-starter, solution oriented, and ability to take initiative.
- Eager to grow and take on new responsibilities
- Ability to be flexible and embrace change and new challenges as marketplace shifts and consumer needs evolve
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, merchandising, or related field preferred or equivalent related work experience
- 2+ years’ experience of apparel cut/sew design experience
- Experience and interest in activewear, swimwear, or outerwear is preferred
- Experience in performance fabrics and seamless knitting technologies a plus

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
