Assistant Director & Enrollment Specialist
Location: Avimor, Idaho
Avimor Academy is seeking a confident, organized, relationship-driven leader to serve as our Assistant Director & Enrollment Specialist.
This is a dual leadership role that blends operational oversight with full ownership of the enrollment lifecycle — from first inquiry to successful onboarding.

About the Role
The Assistant Director & Enrollment Specialist:
- Owns the full inquiry-to-enrollment process
- Delivers exceptional tours and first impressions
- Manages enrollment pacing and waitlists
- Supports daily school operations and staffing coverage
- Partners closely with the Director on strategy and capacity planning
This is not a passive administrative role. It requires leadership presence, warmth, organization, and follow-through.
Primary Responsibilities: Enrollment & Family Experience (Primary Focus)
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective families
- Respond promptly to inquiries (phone, email, website, Playground)
- Schedule and conduct engaging school tours
- Guide families through enrollment, documentation, and onboarding
- Maintain accurate enrollment records and compliance documentation
- Track and report enrollment metrics (inquiries, tours, conversions)
- Manage waitlists and classroom placements proactively
Operational Leadership Support
- Support classroom ratios, transitions, and staffing continuity
- Step into leadership coverage when the Director is unavailable
- Assist with compliance, health, and safety oversight
- Collaborate on scheduling and capacity planning
- Model Avimor Academy’s values and professional standards
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of early childhood or related experience
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, or instructional support experience
- Associate/Bachelor’s degree, CDA, Teaching Certificate or equivalent progressive experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Comfortable guiding enrollment conversations with professionalism and confidence
- Proficient with digital systems (Playground or CRM experience preferred)
- Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements preferred
This role requires someone who is sales-minded but not sales-driven — family trust always comes first.
Schedule
Full-time, typically Monday–Friday (7:00am–4:00pm range).
Occasional extended hours or special events as needed.
