Responsibilities
- Assist the Center Director in managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and organizational policies
- Support curriculum development and implementation to promote engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
- Supervise teaching staff, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development opportunities
- Coordinate enrollment processes, parent communication, and community outreach efforts to foster strong relationships with families
- Oversee health, safety, and sanitation procedures to maintain a secure environment for children and staff
- Assist in budgeting, resource allocation, and maintaining accurate records related to program activities and compliance
- Lead staff meetings and training sessions to promote best practices in early childhood education and classroom management
Experience
- Higher education teaching experience or background in early childhood education preferred
- Proven experience in education administration within a childcare or preschool setting
- Previous university or higher education experience is advantageous for curriculum planning and staff training roles
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children, parents, and educational teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Knowledge of licensing requirements, health & safety standards, and best practices in early childhood development
