Position: Assistant Director of Finance

Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences is seeking a detail-driven, motivated, and collaborative Assistant Director of Finance to support our Director of Finance in overseeing all financial operations for our luxury oceanfront Resort and Residences. This role is ideal for a rising hospitality finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

What You’ll Do

As the Assistant Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in supporting the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Director of Finance in managing the daily operations of the Finance Department for both the Resort and Residences.
• Supporting the preparation and review of financial forecasts, budgets, and monthly performance reports.
• Overseeing and ensuring accuracy in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, maintaining strong internal controls.
• Assisting with payroll oversight to ensure compliance, timely processing, and outstanding service to team members.
• Helping supervise, mentor, and guide the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Preparing financial analysis, reconciliations, and variance reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensuring adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while championing best practices in hospitality finance.

What We’re Looking For

• A finance professional with experience in hospitality, luxury residential, or mixed-use operations.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, AP/AR processes, income audit, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership experience or the readiness to step into a supervisory role supporting team development.
