AAMCI is seeking a Human Resources professional with hands-on recruiting and onboarding experience with recruiting experience since the onset of the post-COVID workforce era. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, new hire onboarding, HR operational support, and backup payroll processing. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting both in-person and remote employees across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines through online platforms, virtual networks, and professional communities.
- Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Conduct and coordinate comprehensive onboarding for new hires, ensuring a smooth and engaging transition into the organization.
- Travel as needed to company sites to facilitate in-person onboarding and orientation for new team members (up to 25% travel required).
- Backup processor of biweekly payroll accurately using ADP, including new hire setup, pay adjustments, and time-off management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Support employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management initiatives as needed.
- Assist in developing HR policies and programs to enhance company culture, retention, and engagement.
- Track and report key recruitment and HR metrics to measure effectiveness and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting or human resources, with at least 2 years of post-COVID recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Strong understanding of current hiring market conditions.
- Experience with ADP payroll processing preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% for onboarding and HR support.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS software, and professional networking tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter or Bamboo HR.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
