Assistant Director of Marketing

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Assistant Director of Marketing to lead dynamic marketing initiatives that elevate brand visibility and drive business growth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple channels, harnessing innovative digital tools and creative content to engage target audiences. Your leadership will empower our marketing team to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate, convert, and sustain long-term customer relationships. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape brand narratives, optimize marketing performance, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Marketing Campaigns: Craft dynamic marketing plans, identify target audiences, create realistic goals, and implement strategies and channels to capture the market.
  • Brand Management: Utilize the HeyDay brand in all marketing to leave a permanent impression of "FUN” for identified audiences.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage, lead, and collaborate with the Digital Marketing Assistant to grow HeyDay’s online presence, foster engagement, and ignite guests' interactions to increase business.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Identify customer preferences, industry trends, and competitor dynamics through immersive market research. Analyze the data to unlock valuable insights, fuel informed marketing decisions, and optimize campaigns.
  • Promotions and Campaign Management: Conceive creative campaigns and bold marketing initiatives that increase foot traffic and generate sales leads. Recommendations for purchasing advertising and engaging in marketing contracts will be the responsibility of the Assistant Director of Marketing.
  • Creative Content Development: Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with the Content Creator to create video, print, digital, and social media content. Also responsible for ensuring that all content is appropriate for identified target audiences and meets the brand guidelines.
  • Event Marketing: Coordinate,and collaborate with Operations for the implementation and execution of in-store pop-up special events and seasonal experiences. These “attractions” are temporary and intended to be a draw for repeat visitors, keeping the HeyDay experience fresh and new every time.
  • Budgeting and ROI Analysis: Based on previous data and knowledge of the industry, collaborate with leadership to create an annual marketing budget. Operating within the allocated budget and making recommendations to take advantage of potentially strong ROIs is a must.

Experience

  • Proven experience in digital marketing roles with a focus on multichannel campaign development and execution.
  • Strong background in B2B (business-to-business) marketing strategies with demonstrated success in lead generation and client engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO techniques, content creation, copywriting, and research methodologies.
  • Familiarity with HTML coding basics for website updates or troubleshooting within WordPress environments.
  • Expertise in using analytics tools like Google Analytics to track KPIs, interpret data trends, and optimize campaigns accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and collaborate with product teams, creative staff, external vendors, and Operations.

Pay: From $64,000.00 per year
