Assistant Director of Music Ministry

Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Music Ministry to support the Director of Music Ministry in the organization, planning, communication, and potential production of liturgical music for a vibrant bi-lingual music program. There may be some flexibility in the job scope depending on the strengths of individual candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and production of music for masses, funerals, weddings, and other special events
• Coordinate and communicate with music volunteers, musicians, and parishioners
• Assist with a variety administrative tasks
• Some evening and weekend work may be required

Required Abilities:

• Knowledge of and experience with the Catholic liturgy and music
• Possess strong organizational and communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability preferred
• Semi-professional or professional level vocal or piano/organ performance abilities are a huge plus

Benefits:
Salary: per experience and job responsibilities
Hours: flexible 15-20 hours/week (remote work is possible)
