Position – Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Location: Ingleside Communities – Mount Horeb, WI (on-site position)
Status: Full-Time

Job Summary:
As Assistant Director of Nursing at Ingleside Communities, you will help run the show—mentoring staff, improving care systems, and making a real impact on residents’ lives every single day. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Clinical Manager / Infection Control Nurse is responsible for overall supervision and coordination of the clinical unit, growth of facility and community resources, provides comprehensive standards, practices and programs that meet the needs and best interests of the facility, staff and residents.

Compensation:
  • $89,000.00 – $110,000.00 annual salary dependent on experience and education

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervisory: Manages training, development and performance of assigned staff to retain a motivated, professional workforce.
  • Ability to develop and facilitate growth within the Nursing Department, relate professionally and positively to facility and departmental staff and to work cooperatively with others at all levels, and to include performance evaluations and discipline as necessary.
  • Performs assessments, develops and implements appropriate plan of care based on assessment and diagnosis tailored to meet each individual's needs with the interdisciplinary team. Evaluates the plan of care and makes necessary changes as needed. Monitors the care delivery of staff.
  • Delegates and collaborates in providing resident care according to licensure and skill levels, follow-up to ensure success.
  • Documents according to current standards and established policies.
  • Ability to work independently with organizational skills, to prioritize tasks, and to exercise judgment consistent with core values.
  • Ability to model effective communications between residents, family, staff, and community.
  • Must be able to identify potentially unsafe situations and respond appropriately.
  • Responsible to know, implement and assure compliance to State, Federal or County regulations and BHS policies and procedures.
  • Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin (required) or licensed in any U.S state and be eligible for Wisconsin licensure by reciprocity.
  • At least 2 years experience in long-term care or skilled nursing experience plus sufficient infection control knowledge responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire clinical teams
  • Must be English literate and Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • CPR certified
  • Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements
