Job Summary:

Belhaven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a 221-bed skilled and intermediate care nursing home located in Chicago's Beverly neighborhood, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the ADON will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents while fostering a positive and supportive work environment for our staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Director of Nursing in the day-to-day operations of the nursing department

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and communication

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance and training as needed

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and objectives

• Analyze and report on nursing statistics and performance indicators

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality of care

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
