Job Summary
The Assistant Director Supply Chain Operations is responsible for the daily operations of all functions assigned by the Administrative Director of Supply Chain. Assists the Administrative Director of Supply Chain in the development, measurement and evaluation of Supply Chain processes and systems to improve operational efficiency and clinical support. The Assistant Director Supply Chain Operations also oversees all aspects of Supply Chain Process improvement programs which include serving as the Supply Chain lead on new buildings and office relocations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Lead and manage all facility Supply Chain activities as assigned by the Administrative Director, Supply Chain.

Raise and resolve facility-based supply chain issues and improvement opportunities.

Execute a continuous improvement program for supply chain functions.

Actively seeks ways to control costs without compromising patient safety or quality of care of the services delivered.

Works with the OR to develop industry leading surgical case support protocols, including refinement of OR supply rooms, preference cards, and vendor management.

Analyzes OR procedural costs across service lines and by provider with the goal of standardizing supply levels, maximizing contract compliance, and reducing waste.

Monitors supply needs of customers and assists in developing improvement plans with measurable goals to enhance services.

Manages Supply Chain efforts for new buildings and office relocations.

Communicates and interacts with staff and key customers to improve customer satisfaction.

Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.

Participates in assigned committees/functions as required by the Hospital.
Education, Experience And Qualifications
-
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years’ of professional experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role required. Experience in Healthcare required.

Strong ability to effectively and promptly solve problems.

Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
-
Adept at data analysis, visualization, and communication.
-
Experience working with information systems and data files.
