Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support and work directly under our lead dispatcher full-time. This role is critical to maintaining efficient daily operations and ensuring timely deliveries across our fleet. As an assistant dispatcher, you will help coordinate loads, communicate with drivers, and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. This role has the opportunity to expand into reload coordination based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead dispatcher with daily load coordination
• Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, updates, and issues
• Monitor deliveries to ensure on-time performance
• Support problem-solving for delays, changes, or driver needs
• Enter and manage load data accurately in TMS
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• (Future Growth) Assist with identifying reload opportunities during slower periods

This role requires someone who can stay organized and communicate effectively in a high-volume, fast-moving environment. Opportunity for growth and increased responsibility based on performance.

Skills:

• Previous dispatching or logistics experience required (RV or trucking industry strongly preferred)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Clear and professional communication skills (drivers will rely on you daily)
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Comfortable using transportation management systems (TMS) and data entry
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
