Responsibilities
- Assist the Early Childcare Director in overseeing daily operations of the early childhood program, ensuring compliance with licensing standards and organizational policies
- Support curriculum development initiatives that promote age-appropriate learning experiences, creativity, and social-emotional growth
- Supervise teaching staff by providing mentorship, conducting evaluations, and fostering professional development opportunities
- Lead efforts in fundraising activities and community engagement to enhance program resources and visibility
- Contribute to strategic planning processes aimed at expanding program offerings and improving service quality
- Manage budgeting tasks in collaboration with senior leadership to ensure fiscal responsibility and resource allocation
- Oversee classroom environments to ensure safety, cleanliness, and stimulating learning spaces that meet all regulatory requirements
- Represent the organization at public speaking engagements, community events, and parent meetings to promote our mission and programs
Requirements
- Proven experience in classroom teaching with young children and working directly with students in early childhood settings
- Strong background in curriculum development, educational administration, and classroom management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff or managing teams within an educational environment
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking, parent engagement, and team collaboration
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies and experience in strategic planning to support program growth
- Ability to develop budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial sustainability of programs
- Supervising experience with a focus on fostering a positive team culture and professional growth opportunities for staff
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration or related field; advanced certifications preferred
