Responsibilities

• Assist the Early Childcare Director in overseeing daily operations of the early childhood program, ensuring compliance with licensing standards and organizational policies
• Support curriculum development initiatives that promote age-appropriate learning experiences, creativity, and social-emotional growth
• Supervise teaching staff by providing mentorship, conducting evaluations, and fostering professional development opportunities
• Lead efforts in fundraising activities and community engagement to enhance program resources and visibility
• Contribute to strategic planning processes aimed at expanding program offerings and improving service quality
• Manage budgeting tasks in collaboration with senior leadership to ensure fiscal responsibility and resource allocation
• Oversee classroom environments to ensure safety, cleanliness, and stimulating learning spaces that meet all regulatory requirements
• Represent the organization at public speaking engagements, community events, and parent meetings to promote our mission and programs

Requirements

• Proven experience in classroom teaching with young children and working directly with students in early childhood settings
• Strong background in curriculum development, educational administration, and classroom management
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff or managing teams within an educational environment
• Excellent communication skills for public speaking, parent engagement, and team collaboration
• Knowledge of fundraising strategies and experience in strategic planning to support program growth
• Ability to develop budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial sustainability of programs
• Supervising experience with a focus on fostering a positive team culture and professional growth opportunities for staff
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration or related field; advanced certifications preferred
