Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)

Qualification:

• DAE / B.Tech. (Mechanical)

Experience:

• Minimum 08 years of relevant post qualification experience in oil & gas, fertilizers, chemical industry or any other reputed industry.

Skills:

• Candidate should have sound knowledge and hands on experience for the maintenance of Rotary and Stationary equipment.
• Should have sound knowledge and skills for maintenance and troubleshooting of PD & Centrifugal Pumps, Engines, Compressors and work shop equipment.
• Working experience of fabrication of plant piping, repair of static equipment and crude oil storage tanks.
• Should have strong team building, self-motivation and supervisory skills and working under pressure.
• Assisting in ISO internal audits and maintaining compliance to HSE and departmental procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementation of preventive maintenance plans.
• Perform periodic visual/physical inspection of all equipment.
• Complete the corrective maintenance jobs up to entire satisfaction.
• Identify and investigate breakdown or malfunctioning of equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date history of all plant machinery maintenance records.
• Execute the work safely and follow the company policies and procedures.
• Compliance to PPEs and PTW system.
• Assist field management staff in day-to-day assignments (Any task assigned by Seniors).
• Perform routine services of Pumps, Enginers, Compressors and other plant equipment.
• Preparation of daily, monthly and major jobs reports.
• Creation / Completion of Work Order in EAM.
