Assistant Engineer (Process)

Qualification:

• DAE (Chemical)

Experience:

• Minimum 03 years of professional experience preferable in petro-chemical industry.

Skills:

• Operations of onshore oil & gas treatment facilities.

• Knowledge of pumps, gas compressors and turbine operations.

• DCS / PLC experience, control room operations, occupational and process safety knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to and enforce all applicable Company, safety and environmental regulations.

• Execute Startup, shutdown and operating procedures for gas treatment plant, gas compressors, furnaces, distillation towers, expanders, electric motors, fans, pumps instrumentation, valves and alarms.

• Analyze flow streams using a gas chromatograph and make necessary process adjustments to maintain product specifications.

• Knowledge of minor maintenance of compressors, engines, pumps, controls, pipping and valves.

• Generate daily production reports including liquid production, downtime and gas volumes.

• Coordinate and oversee the transfer of liquid products into trucks, tanks and pipelines.

• Make work permits after safely preparing for maintenance and notify maintenance personnel of problem areas.
