Assistant Facility Manager

Assistant Manager – Facility Management

Department - Administration / Operations

Reporting To - Manager / Senior Manager – Administration / Facilities

Role Purpose :

To manage and maintain high standards of campus facilities by ensuring safety, hygiene, compliance, vendor performance, and cost optimization. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement of facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee housekeeping, security, sanitation, and overall campus facility standards
  • Finalize and manage facility vendors, service providers, and AMCs
  • Conduct regular safety, hygiene, and statutory compliance audits
  • Ensure implementation of preventive and breakdown maintenance systems
  • Monitor and optimize facility-related expenses and budgets
  • Drive R&D initiatives for facility enhancement and operational efficiency
  • Maintain complete, audit-ready facility documentation and records
  • Prepare and present facility performance MIS and reports
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for smooth facility operations

  • Strong facility operations and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and statutory compliance standards
  • Cost control and budgeting expertise
  • Documentation and audit readiness discipline
  • Problem-solving and process improvement mindset
  • Good coordination and communication skills

Experience & Qualification

  • Graduate / Postgraduate preferred
  • 5–8 years of experience in facility management or administration
  • Prior experience handling vendors and compliance audits preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
