Assistant Fashion Designer- Garment Industry

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Fashion Designer cum Sample Coordinator with hands-on experience in men’s bottom wear. The role involves supporting the design team, coordinating samples, and working closely with production units to ensure timely and quality sample development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing men’s bottom wear including cargos, pants, trousers, and jeans
• Prepare basic sketches, tech packs, and measurement sheets
• Coordinate with sampling units, vendors, and job workers
• Follow up on sample development, approvals, and timelines
• Assist in fit sessions and implement required corrections
• Support in selection of fabrics, trims, colors, and washes
• Ensure samples meet quality, cost, and production feasibility
• Maintain sample records and development trackers
• Coordinate with production and merchandising teams for smooth handover

Skills & Requirements

• Basic to good knowledge of men’s bottom wear fits and construction
• Experience in woven and denim garments
• Understanding of garment sampling and factory processes
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / CorelDRAW
• Good coordination, communication, and follow-up skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
