Assistant Fashion Designer – Women’s Active

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform retail market research for ideas and inspiration; stay up to date on new trends.
• Assist in tracking and organizing approved lab-dips, strike offs, samples, etc.
• Create CADs in patterns/prints for apparel line.
• Develop flat sketches for design development packages.
• Communicate daily with overseas vendors to keep projects running smoothly and on time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-3 years of experience as an Assistant Fashion Designer.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Clear and proactive communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally at many different levels.
• Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically.
