Assistant Financial Controller

Your New Job

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Assistant Financial Controller to join our finance team in Istanbul. Directly supporting the Finance Manager you will play a key role in ensuring financial compliance, and maintaining excellence across all financial statements, budgets and group month end reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the month-end closing process and assist in the preparation of financial reporting packages including quarterly board presentation
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses to monitor company performance
• Conduct variance analysis between budget, forecast, and actual results
• Work closely with different departments to understand operational drivers behind financial results
• Contribute to the improvement and standardization of financial reporting processes
• Act as a business partner to different departments by providing financial insights and supporting data-driven decision making.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required financial information and documentation
• Support the ongoing Budget Planning Consolidation (BPC) implementation project, contributing to the enhancement of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes

What We Expect from You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 2–3 years of audit experience; candidates with Big4 backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply
• Good knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles
• Strong analytical thinking and financial analysis skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Fluent in English is required
