Job Overview
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations within the establishment. This role involves managing staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation and service, maintaining inventory control, and upholding safety and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in overseeing Day-to-Day Operations for all outlets including Banquets.
- Manage credit card handling procedures and ensure accurate reporting through Toast POS.
- Assists in the ordering of F&B supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms.
- Supervises daily F&B shift operation and ensures compliance with all F&B policies, standards and procedures.
- Assists in weekly inventory of Food and Beverage of all Outlets.
- Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objective are met.
- Participates in Team members performance reviews and goal setting.
- Communicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to ensure understanding.
- Coordinates cleaning program in all F&B areas (including General clean), identifying trends and making recommendation for improvements.
- Stays readily available/ approachable for all guests and team members.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the brand specific service culture.
- Provides guidance and hands on training to new hires.
- Takes proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns.
- Reviews guest satisfaction results with employees.
- Assists in record keeping and tracking of team’s training records and certificates.
- Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned.
- Comprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll progress report.
