Assistant Foreman

An Assistant Foreman supports the Foreman by supervising teams, coordinating daily tasks, ensuring safety compliance, monitoring project progress, and handling administrative duties like reporting, acting as a key link between management and workers to keep projects on track, on time, and within budget while training staff and maintaining a safe, productive worksite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Supervision: Direct and guide crew members, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training, stepping in for the Foreman when needed.
  • Project Coordination: Schedule work, coordinate materials, manage equipment, and ensure project phases meet timelines and quality standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct inspections, lead toolbox talks, and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Reporting & Administration: Complete daily reports, track time, document progress, and maintain project records.
  • Problem Solving: Address immediate issues with workers, equipment, or processes, troubleshooting problems and suggesting solutions.
  • Site Management: Keep the job site orderly, manage tools, and act as a company representative to clients.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the relevant field (construction, manufacturing, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Ability to work in challenging environments and handle physical tasks.
  • Computer proficiency for reporting and administrative tasks.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
