About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Assistant Front Office Manager (AFOM) to support the Front Office operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experience, efficient front desk operations, and smooth coordination between departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily front desk operations
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Supervise front office team members and provide on-the-job training and support
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor room inventory and coordinate with Housekeeping and Reservations
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, standards, and procedures
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and service quality
- Prepare daily reports and support operational audits
- Handle VIP arrivals and special guest requests
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Front Office or Guest Services role in a 4-star or 5-star hotel
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in hotel front office systems (PMS such as Opera is an advantage)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Arabic speaking candidates will be given preference
