Market Venice is a modern Italian restaurant located in the heart of Venice Beach. We care deeply about food, wine, and the people on both sides of the pass. Our regulars come back because of how we make them feel.

We are growing, and we are looking for an Assistant General Manager who would like to be part of that.

The role

This is a service role. You will be out there, in it, every service. Leading by example, reading the room, coaching your team in real time, and making sure every guest leaves wanting to come back.

Admin responsibilities will grow as you settle in, but this is not a clipboard job. If you love the energy of a full dining room and you find genuine satisfaction in a team that is locked in and performing, this is for you.

You will work 5 days a week, with 2 days off. Friday and Saturday nights go late, we close at 2:00 am on weekends, and are looking for someone who thrives in that environment.

What you will actually do

Run the floor during service with presence, warmth, and clarity

Train, coach, and develop your FOH team, not just correct them

Build relationships with guests so they ask for you by name

Support and set the standard for hospitality every single shift

Communicate clearly between the front and back of house

Grow into operational responsibilities over time

Who you are

You are the kind of manager guests remember and staff actually want to work for. You find energy in a busy service. You notice things before they become problems.

You have done this before, at least 1 year in a floor management or senior FOH supervisory role, and you are ready for a home where the work actually means something.

What we offer

$80,000 - $85,000 salary depending on experience

Full-time, 5-day schedule

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
