Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to work closely with the General Manager in handling and supporting various employee programs and carrying out responsibilities throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate is a friendly and helpful person with a great attitude, a valid driver's license, and the flexibility to work different shifts as needed, as we operate 24/7. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet hotel guests and ensure the best experience at the hotel.
- Employee Engagement: Present at internal employee huddles to cheer on the team and discuss hotel-related topics.
- General Duties: Carry out various responsibilities throughout the hotel as needed and perform other duties as assigned by management.
- HR Support: Prepare and maintain employment records, process pay changes, promotions, and terminations, support and administer plant recognition programs, and oversee the progressive discipline process for hourly employees. Assist with changes in employment status, time-off requests, documentation, and compliance.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, with some college or technical school coursework.
- Minimum of two years of human resources experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must be able to work all shifts (24/7 operation).
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Good computer knowledge (including Microsoft Word and spreadsheets).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree.
- Previous experience working in a hotel management environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish-English).

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
