Job Description

Position :- Assistant General Manager - Finance

Department :- Finance

Reports to :- CEO

Responsibilities

§ Perform financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.

§ Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.

§ Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and Coordinate internal and external audits.

§ Monitor daily cash flow, working capital, and fund requirements.

§ Manage banking relationships and ensure optimal use of credit facilities.

§ Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., tax, GST, TDS, etc.).

§ Ensure compliance with applicable financial laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., Companies Act, Income Tax Act, IFRS/GAAP).

§ Identify and mitigate financial risks and oversee internal control systems.

§ Implement cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies & monitor variances between actuals and budgets, and drive corrective actions.

§ Supervise and mentor finance team members and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

§ Coordinate with cross-functional departments for alignment and support.

Requirements

§ Work Experience :– 10 Years or More

§ Qualifications :- CA/CMA/MBA (Finance)

§ Skills :- GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, Compliance with industry-specific regulations (e.g., FSSAI related financial compliance), Tally ERP, Advanced Excel, Yield Analysis, Standard costing, inventory valuation, margin analysis.
