Duties
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services
- Lead and supervise staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences and uphold Marriott brand standards
- Manage revenue streams through effective pricing strategies, budgeting, and revenue management techniques
- Ensure high standards of customer service by training staff on phone etiquette, multi-line phone systems, and guest relations
- Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies, including night audit procedures and security protocols
- Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry, ideally in hotel management or resort settings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and profitability
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Familiarity with hotel management systems, multi-line phone systems, and front desk operations
- Experience in budgeting, human resources management, and night audit procedures
- Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
