Are you a hospitality leader who thrives in both operations and sales? At the Hilton Garden Inn Folsom, we’re looking for an energetic and results-driven Assistant General Manager / Sales Manager who can help lead hotel operations while driving revenue growth, building client relationships, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

This dual-role position is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats — from overseeing daily hotel operations and supporting the front desk team to securing group business, managing local accounts, and coordinating meetings and events.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Working closely with the General Manager and occasionally acting in their absence
  • Supporting daily hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and brand compliance
  • Responding promptly and professionally to guest concerns while leading service recovery efforts
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses, corporate accounts, contractors, sports teams, and group clients
  • Managing sales activities including prospecting, account development, site tours, and negotiated rate agreements
  • Responding to group, meeting, and event inquiries while maximizing occupancy and revenue opportunities (Delphi experience preferred)
  • Coordinating client needs and ensuring smooth communication between operations and sales
  • Accurately maintaining sales systems, reports, room blocks, and event details
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, revenue strategies, and operational planning
  • Leading by example to motivate team members and maintain Hilton service standards

What we need from you

  • Previous hotel leadership experience in operations, front office, and/or sales management
  • Hospitality sales experience required, including group sales, local negotiated rates, or corporate account management
  • Strong guest service and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Experience handling guest recovery and operational problem-solving
  • Knowledge of hotel systems, revenue strategies, and sales processes preferred
  • Flexible schedule including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as business levels require
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
