Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily activities across various programs, including childcare, early childhood education, and recreational camps.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages participation and respectful behavior.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and creativity.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and behavior management strategies.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute educational or recreational events such as sports coaching, theater performances, or tutoring sessions.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community atmosphere.
• Help monitor and document children's progress and behavior to support individualized development plans.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies is essential.
• Experience in special education or working with children with diverse needs is a plus.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure safety during all activities.
• Background in early childhood education or childhood development will strengthen your application.
