Assistant Hairdresser

Experience:

• Previous experience in a salon or customer service setting (preferred but not always required)
• Familiarity with basic hair care products and tools

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong interest in hairdressing and beauty services
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow directions and assist senior stylists
• Basic knowledge of hair washing, blow-drying, and salon sanitation
• Good time management and multitasking ability
• Physical stamina (standing for long periods, bending, lifting)

Duties May Include:

• Shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying clients' hair
• Assisting stylists with color mixing, foiling, and treatments
• Sweeping, cleaning stations, and sanitizing tools
• Scheduling appointments and greeting clients
• Restocking and organizing salon products
• Ensuring a clean and welcoming salon environment
