Assistant Hairdresser

We are looking for Hair Assistant, who will provide basic hair care services as part of a routine session, including shampooing, cutting and blow drying. This position is responsible for assisting the stylists with elementary hair services.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Arrive to work on time, well-groomed, and in a professional manner
• Assist the stylist with shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing clients’ hair
• Help the stylist mix colors and apply them to clients’ hair
• Greet clients and make them feel welcome in the salon.
• Keep the salon clean and organized
• Sweep hair off the floor and empty garbage cans
• Stock supplies such as shampoo, conditioner, and towels
• Perform other duties as assigned by the stylist or salon manager
• Upsell salon services and products to clients
• Refer clients to the stylist for additional services

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
• Great attention to detail
• 3-5 years experience as a hair stylist assistant
• Management experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Creativity and ability to think outside the box
