Assistant Home Consultant

Village Homes is seeking an Assistant Home Consultant to take under our wing. With close mentoring and guidance, you will help us create a first class home buying experience while supporting your sales team and assisting our customers throughout the purchase process. In addition, you will assist your parts and service department with exiting home customers, and perform crucial general office duties. The work schedule includes one weekday off and every Sunday off. We are open Saturdays 9am-4pm (3pm winter months). Saturdays are a busy day for us with families coming in to plan their new home or purchase supplies for their existing home.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills a must.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel programs.
• Strong administrative skills, organizational skills and basic math skills a must.
• Willingness to learn basic drafting in Chief Architect software with professional training.

• Willing to mentor and train the right individual!

Responsibilities:

• Shadow, assist and learn from your teams throughout the day.
• Study, learn and become an expert in our home products and services.
• Answer incoming calls and greet walk in visitors.
• Assist with parts sales, order placement and incoming deliveries as needed.
• Follow up and help set appointments with customers.
• Sit in and assist with sales presentation and contract meetings.
• Create and manage office brochures and materials.
• Process all paperwork related to customer files and home inventory.
• Chief Architect training and drafting.
• Office & sales lot up-keep, including light cleaning, ice management and assisting with light shoveling as needed.
• Interior design, including furnishing & decorating sales lot display homes.
• Assist the sales manager and ownership with various task as needed.
• Learn new technology, programs and processes as needed.
• Have fun!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
