- Overall Administration
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the hospital ensuring smooth workflow across all departments.
- Supervise non-clinical departments such as HR, Accounts, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Security.
- Coordinate between clinical and non-clinical teams for seamless service delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure hospital operations comply with statutory laws, NABH, Biomedical Waste, Fire, and Safety norms.
- Maintain valid licenses, registrations, and renewals (Clinical Establishment, Pollution Control, Fire, etc.).
- Coordinate with government and municipal authorities for inspections and approvals.
- Financial & Budget Management
- Prepare and monitor hospital budgets and financial targets.
- Approve expenses, vendor payments, and cost control initiatives.
- Ensure accurate billing, revenue collection, and audit support.
- Human Resource & Staff Management
- Supervise recruitment, attendance, training, and evaluation of hospital staff.
- Ensure staff discipline, motivation, and adherence to HR policies.
- Conduct regular meetings to review performance and resolve grievances.
- Patient Care & Service Quality
- Maintain high standards of patient satisfaction and service excellence.
- Handle patient feedback, grievances, and service recovery.
- Monitor patient flow, waiting time, and emergency response efficiency.
- Inventory & Procurement
- Oversee procurement of medical and non-medical supplies.
- Ensure proper stock management, vendor negotiation, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor biomedical equipment maintenance and AMC schedules.
- Infrastructure & Facility Management
- Ensure hospital premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Oversee facility maintenance, housekeeping, security, and utilities.
- Implement preventive maintenance and expansion projects.
- IT, Data & Reporting
- Supervise Hospital Information System (HIS) and data management.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital records.
- Generate periodic MIS reports for management review.
- Liaison & Coordination
- Coordinate with doctors, consultants, and external agencies.
- Liaise with insurance companies, TPA, and corporate clients.
- Build partnerships with diagnostic centers and medical suppliers.
- Strategic Planning
- Assist management in policy formulation and long-term planning.
- Develop strategies for improving efficiency, branding, and patient base.
- Support new projects, departments, or healthcare programs.
