Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Schedule and assign tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Inspect all rooms daily to ensure compliance with cleaning standards and identify areas for improvement
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and address specific cleaning needs
- Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of custodial and industrial cleaning practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, inventory management, and reporting
