Naumi Hotel Dubai is seeking an Assistant HR Manager to support and elevate the People and Performance function for a vibrant, design‑led hotel in Barsha Heights. Reporting to the Group Director People & Performance, this role partners closely with the Hotel General Manager and department heads to deliver exceptional people outcomes across the property.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the GM and leaders to execute Naumi’s People & Performance strategy at hotel level (workforce planning, talent, engagement, culture).
- Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures and documentation are accurate, current and aligned to UAE Labour Law and Group standards.
- Coach leaders on performance, conduct, and capability issues, ensuring timely, fair and compliant outcomes.
- Support learning and development initiatives, talent reviews and succession planning for the Dubai property.
- Lead HR metrics and reporting for the hotel (turnover, headcount, absenteeism, engagement insights) to inform decision‑making.
- Champion Naumi’s culture, values and colleague experience, driving recognition, wellbeing and inclusion activities.
What you will bring
- Experience in an HR generalist or Assistant HR Manager role within upscale hotel/hospitality or a similar service‑driven environment.
- Strong exposure to Dubai or wider Middle East HR practices, with solid working knowledge of UAE Labour Law and local HR norms.
- Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end recruitment for frontline and supervisory roles in a competitive market.
- Confident employee relations skills, with the ability to balance empathy and commercial outcomes.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, hands on environment where you switch between strategy and detail daily.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic or additional languages an advantage.
- HR qualification or similar is desirable.
Reporting lines and scope
- Reports directly to: Group Director People & Performance (regional role).
- Key stakeholders: Hotel General Manager Dubai, department heads, Finance, Group People & Performance team.
- Scope: Full HR support for Naumi Hotel Dubai, with involvement in group‑wide projects, initiatives and roll‑outs.
