Assistant in Nursing

Core responsibilities

· Patient care: Providing hands-on care, monitoring patient progress, and performing duties like wound care, administering injections, and setting up IVs.

· Assessment: Conducting physical exams, recording medical histories, and taking vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.

· Medication administration: Dispensing medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects, and ensuring proper storage.

· Care planning: Developing, updating, and implementing care plans in collaboration with physicists and other healthcare team members.

· Communication: Liaising with doctors, relaying patient information, and providing counseling and health education to patients and their families.

· Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and medical charts.

· Equipment management: Operating and maintaining medical equipment and preparing patients for tests and procedures.

Additional duties

· Emergency response: Responding to patient emergencies and providing first aid or life-saving measures.

· Support: Offering emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.

· Leadership: Supervising and training junior nurses or support staff.

· Safety: Ensuring infection prevention and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

· Professional development: Participating in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current in the field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
