Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher

Child’s First is looking for part-time assistant teachers to work with children ages 6 weeks–2 years old. This position is fast-paced and requires patience, strong observation skills, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families
• Communicating with children, parents, and staff throughout the day
• Diapering and supporting daily care routines
• Assisting with meals, snacks, and bottles
• Light cleaning duties (wiping tables, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, toy sanitation, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to stay flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and grow in early childhood

Requirements:

Must complete (or be willing to complete):

• Introduction to the Child Care Profession
• Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care
• Preference given to applicants who have already completed these certifications
