Assistant infant/Toddler Teacher

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated infant-Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our team. As a Teacher of Grace's Busy Bees, you will play a key role in nurturing and educating young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development in a safe and stimulating environment.

Duties:
- Develop and help implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to engage infant/toddler-aged children.
- Provide a nurturing, calm and supportive environment that promotes learning through play.
- Monitor and assess children's progress to ensure individualized learning goals are met.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's developmental needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom conducive to learning.
- Implement effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/ associate's degree or CDA in Early Childhood Education or related field strongly preferred or willing to obtain.
- Previous experience working with toddler-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR (preferred)
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong caregiving skills with a passion for working with children.
- Experience in special education or working with children with diverse learning needs is a plus.

- Willing to get a background check/fingerprinting.
- Excellent classroom management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
